Why we hold data

Ovasta Seeds keeps only what we need to run badge accounts, fulfil seed orders, discourage abuse, and answer site-office tickets. We do not sell or rent customer lists to advertisers.

Information we may hold

  • Account: name, email, hashed password, verification status.
  • Fulfilment: shipping address, phone, cart lines, payment mode, order identifiers.
  • Support: messages and attachments sent through Site office, Tool crib, or Parcel watch forms.
  • Security: session tokens, approximate IP, and browser hints used to spot fraud.

How we use it

  • Authenticate buyers and block abusive badge registrations.
  • Pick, pack, and hand parcels to logistics partners from the Chanditala desk.
  • Send transactional notices about dispatch and delivery.
  • Meet Indian bookkeeping and statutory retention duties tied to GSTIN 19AADCO4729Q1ZP.

How long we keep it

Commercial order records stay for the statutory retention period that applies in India. If optional marketing consent is collected later, you may withdraw it by writing to support@ovastaseeds.in.

Access and correction

Signed-in buyers may request a copy, correction, or deletion of personal data, except where law requires us to keep the record. Send the request from the email on the account to support@ovastaseeds.in.

Security measures

Passwords use one-way hashing. When cards or UPI are processed, full payment credentials stay with certified gateways and are not stored on our application servers.
